  • Does Snoozy's charge sales tax?
    Sales tax is charged on all orders shipped to addresses in Alabama. During the checkout process you will be able to see the amount of sales tax charged.

  • What forms of payment does Snoozy's accept? 
    Snoozy's accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit card payments online.

  • When are confirmations sent out?
    Order confirmations are sent to you automatically via e-mail when your order is placed. You will receive an additional email confirmation when your order has been shipped.

  • How are orders shipped? 
    Snoozy's ships all orders via UPS. A valid street address is required on all orders.  P.O. Box addresses are not acceptable.

  • When can I expect my order?
    This depends on several factors including whether or not the item is at our store or our warehouse and the shipping method you select. Snoozy's fills and ships orders Monday through Friday. In general you should expect that your order will be filled and shipped in 1-2 business days and then add the number of days it takes for your order to reach you. For example, and order placed on Monday with "Next Day" shipping will usually be shipped on Tuesday or Wednesday and then you would receive the day after it shipped. NOTE : "Next Day" shipping does not guarantee that an order placed on Monday will be received on Tuesday. Instead, it guarantees that the order will be received the day after it is shipped.

    You can use the UPS website to estimate the delivery time for your order and to compare the various shipping options available to you :
    UPS Delivery Time Estimate Website . Simply enter your city and zipcode and use 99999 as the origin city and zipcode. Add approximately 2 business days to calculate the ship date and leave all other fields blank. UPS should be able to give you various delivery estimates depending on the shipment method selected.

    Please note that the UPS Delivery Time Estimate Website link is a tool provided by UPS and is not maintained by Snoozy's. We do not guarantee any delivery estimates made by UPS.

  • How do I track my order(s)?
    You can view the status of your order at any time by visiting the
    My Account section of our website. Once you log in you will be able to access your complete order history. All orders shipped via UPS will have a tracking number assigned. You can click on the tracking number to find estimated delivery information.

  • When can I order from Snoozy's Website?
    You can place orders for merchandise and general books on Snoozy's website at any time. There may be certain features of our website, such as text book reservations, that are only available during certain dates. Please note that we occasionally perform system maintenance around 5:00am Central Time and our system may be unavailable around that time. We do not expect our system to be down for more than 10 minutes during these maintenance operations.

  • I am having trouble placing an order. What should I do?
    We apologize that you are experiencing difficulty ordering from Snoozy's website. Here are a few tips that may help.

    1. If you are adding items to your cart and your cart is still empty then check to make sure you have cookies enabled. Please read our

    2. If you are paying by credit card make sure that your billing address matches the information on your billing statement. Students, this is usually your permanent address.

  • Are there any web browser requirements?
    Snoozy's Online store is best viewed using a newer web browser such as Netscape 7+, Internet Explorer 6+, Firefox 1+, Safari 1+, etc. If you are still using an older web browser we encourage you to upgrade your browser for the best experience. Free upgrades can be found

  • Does Snoozy's require Javascript to be enabled?
    Yes, you need to have javascript enabled.

  • My credit card was charged twice – what should I do?
    Pressing the "Submit Order" button more than once can result in duplicate charges. To ensure that you do not place a duplicate order please make sure to only press the Submit Order button once. Then please be patient as we attempt to authorize your credit card. If you believe that there is a duplicate charge on your credit card please
    Contact Us . We will look into the charge and if it is a duplicate we will reverse the duplicate charge and remove the duplicate order. Please be sure to include your order number when you contact us.

  • What should I do if I forget my Order Number?
    Your order number is included in the email confirmation. You can also access your order number(s) using the
    My Account section of our website. If you still cannot find your order number, please Contact Us . We can find and provide you with your order number using your email address.

  • What should I do if I forget my password?
    In order to keep your account information secure Snoozy's staff cannot lookup your password. What we can do is reset your password. If you cannot remember your password and would like to have it reset please
    contact technical support . We will reset your password and mail the new password to the email address you used when you created your account. Once you receive the new password, we recommend that you log into your account as soon as possible and change your password to something more secure.

  • How do I update my information?
    We appreciate customers that keep their information up to date. If you would like to update your information you can go to the
    My Account section of our website. From there you will be able to update your email address, your addresses, etc.

  • Who do I contact if I am having problems with your website?
    If you are having problems with our website, please let us know. You can

      This includes phone calls to Snoozy's and emailed questions & comments to the webmaster or other departments.
      • This information may include phone numbers, email addresses, etc. We do not guarantee the safety of information sent from personal email accounts, over the telephone, etc. Please do not email sensitive personal information to the University Bookstore.
    If you choose not to register an account or provide personal information, you can still visit most of the University Bookstore website (such as browsing our products and adding items to the shopping cart); however you will not have access to areas and services that require this type of information (such as completing online orders).

    ALL RETURNS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ORIGINAL RECEIPT OR PACKING SLIP.

    All clothing or gift merchandise ordered online must be returned within 7 days of the ship date printed on the packing slip. Unless stated otherwise (i.e. items listed as non-returnable). The following return policies apply to textbooks ordered online. Textbooks may be returned up to the specified day for each semester.  These dates are listed below.

    May Term Books - Last day to return is May 12th.

    Summer 12-week term - Last day to return is May 18th

    Summer 9-week term - Last day to return is June 8th

    Summer A Term - Last day to return is June 3rd

    Summer B Term - Last day to return is July 6th

    Snoozy's Bookstore is commited to excellent customer service. If for some reason you need to return or exchange your merchandise please follow the guidelines below. All merchandise must be received in new, salable condition (tags should still be attached) for a replacement or credit to be issued. In the case of a refund, credit will only be issued to the account that was used to place the order. Software and other shrinkwrapped items are non-returnable if opened, however defective merchandise may be replaced (see below).

    Return Authorization

    All returns will require prior authorization. To initiate a return please contact us by email at weborders@snoozysbookstore.com, call us at 205-328-2665.

    Wrong item, size, or color We will promptly replace or, at our discretion, refund any merchandise that is the incorrect item, size, or color. Shipping is refundable only if the wrong merchandise results from an error by Snoozy's. If you made a mistake or have changed your mind, then you must pay for all shipping charges when returning the order.

    Defective Merchandise

    We will promptly replace or, at our discretion, refund any merchandise that you receive that is damaged or defective. We will credit the account used to place the order for the cost of return shipping upon receipt of the damaged or defective merchandise at our warehouse.

    An original receipt or packing slip is required with all returns. Be sure to include the reason for the return or exchange. Please use UPS or purchase insurance when returning items, for your own protection.
